Every citizen of India should have complete awareness about the elections. During the elections, everyone should have 100% responsibility while voting or electing a candidate.
Elections are a means to the voting power of the Indians. The vote symbolized the power held by every citizen who is responsible to protect the democratic rights of the country. Elections and the vote together are introduced to make sure that the people are deciding who governs the democracy in a proper way. Elections are not about a party or an individual trying to convince people to vote with their hypocritical promises.
Parties are just representative bodies responsible to nominate candidates who have the eligibility and character to do some good. Every party is established to look after the well-being of the country and its people.
Every citizen must understand that there is no relation between elections and parties. A candidate may belong to a party or contest as an Independent, it becomes the duty of the people to observe and vote for the eligible candidate. In addition, our party encourages those who ‘will’ to contest in elections and desire to bring a difference. It would be wonderful to see every citizen acts completely responsible during the elections and be in that manner till the completion of elections. This is the greatest gift and individual can give to India.
There is one thing every citizen should realize during the elections. No one should carry the flags or symbols of parties and they should only carry the national flag. Only the candidate participating in the election can carry the flag so that people can know about his representing party. After the elections, if a candidate wins then the supporters can hold the party flag to honour the victory.
The duty of citizens doesn’t end with the elections. They have to make sure that all the promises made by the candidate through manifesto are fulfilled. By meeting the candidate or demanding, the results have to be obtained. Then only can our country emerge into an International force.
