For every year the Food Corporations of India are investing crores of money to buy food sources and store them. They are the only reliable source the nation could depend on when there is a food crisis. However, in the recent years the FCIs are experience heavy loss of money due to the transportation of food grains and this is laying a huge burden on the economy of India.
To securely store the food grains required for the country, our party has come up with a new idea. If our party forms the Government, we will release funds to build warehouses in every village and ward. The food grains harvested in an area can be stored in the concerned warehouse, which would significantly reduce the cost on transportation.
Furthermore, the administration of the warehouses is given to the people of the region. As the warehouses would be built with remarkable engineering skill, it won’t be expensive for the people to maintain them. A lot of money would be saved for the Government which in turn could be used for the welfare of the society. It is mutually beneficial as well, because some of the people would be employed to take continuous care of the local warehouses. By this method, the food grains would be safe, the Government would be economically saved, people will have access to the warehouses and some will get employed.
